Organic. Sustainable. Recyclable.<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>


<\/span>The production of our apparel was super important to us. Right from the start we wanted Outermost to help the planet, not negatively impact it. So we partnered with the lovely folk at Teemill who have pioneered a recyclable, sustainable and organic manufacturing process.<\/span><\/p>

They are a local UK company on the Isle of Wight who are are passionate about developing a better form of fashion for our planet.<\/span><\/p>

From the start, the organic cotton farmed is fed by stored monsoon waters and cow poo. When processed, only the best fibres are used for spinning while the waste is compacted into cow feed or pressed for vegetable oil. Nothing is wasted. Not even the dyehouse effluent! (which is a major polluter in fashion) This is recovered, filtered, boiled and recirculated through the process.<\/span><\/p>

Renewable energy is used through the supply chain. In india the factory is powered by two wind farms and solar while in the UK, Teemill own a solar farm and power all machinery with renewables.<\/span><\/p>

The super exciting part is all Outermost clothing is uniquely designed to be remade. Recyclable natural fibres that, when worn out, can be returned to us to shred and re-spin for the making of new apparel - over and over again!<\/span><\/p>

Our Trek into the Outermost<\/h2>

Outermost Apparel is an adventure into the unknown for us, but it all starts with a passion for being outdoors and immersed in the wilderness.<\/p>

Having travelled much of the world, we've always found our best moments outdoors in some insane environments, humbled by nature. Surfing in Sri Lanka, Bali and Morocco, white water kayaking the River Seti in Nepal, climbing Mt Chirripo in Costa Rica, trekking through the primary rainforest of Borneo in search of wild Orangutan and hiking through the Annapurna region of the awesome Himalayas. These are just a few stand-out experiences which have given us a huge respect and love for the natural world.<\/p>

Born from a love of the wild outdoors<\/strong><\/h3>

Outermost Apparel was created for those who feel most alive under open skies. Inspired by the untamed beauty of nature, we believe in the power of the outdoors to improve physical and mental wellbeing. Whether it\u2019s paddle boarding at sunrise, hiking misty trails, surfing wild coastlines, or climbing trees just for the joy of it \u2014 we celebrate every moment spent outside.<\/p>

Every Outermost product is made from 100% organic cotton<\/strong> and designed to be fully recyclable<\/strong> through us. When your garment reaches the end of its journey, simply scan the label\u2019s QR code<\/strong> and return it free of charge. We\u2019ll shred and remake<\/strong> the material into new Outermost Apparel products, closing the loop in a true circular fashion system<\/strong>.<\/p>
